EU Import & Customs Update (Effective 1 July 2026)
From 1 July 2026, the European Union (EU) will introduce new customs regulations for goods imported from countries outside the EU, including the United Kingdom. These changes are set by the EU and apply to all businesses shipping to EU member states, regardless of shipment value.
What’s Changing?
The current €150 customs duty exemption will be removed. This means all orders shipped into the EU may be subject to import duties and customs charges from 1 July 2026 onwards.
Depending on the origin of the goods and the customs declaration used, preferential customs duty rates may apply. Customers are encouraged to check with their local customs authority for more information.
Orders Under €150
For orders valued under €150, a flat customs processing fee of €3 per line item may apply within the import declaration process.
Please note:
- The €150 threshold is based on the final price paid by the customer, not the wholesale or cost price of the goods.
- Non-IOSS shipments may still qualify for reduced or preferential customs duty rates depending on eligibility.
Important Information for EU Customers
As these regulations are controlled by EU customs authorities, any applicable import duties, taxes, handling fees, or customs charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Delivery times may also be affected by customs processing in your country.
By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any customs charges or import fees that may apply upon delivery.

What is a working/business day?
A working day (also referred to as a business day) generally means any day that is not a weekend or a public holiday. In most commercial and legal contexts, this is understood to be Monday – Friday, excluding recognised UK bank holidays. Working days are typically calculated based on standard business operating hours rather than a full 24-hour period.
